It is advantage Liverpool in the Premier League title race after Manchester City were stunned at home by Wolves.
Match Report
Adama Traore's double means Manchester City remain eight points behind Liverpool at the Premier League summit as Wolves stormed to a 2-0 win at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
The Reds' last-gasp win over Leicester City a day earlier opened up a sizeable lead over Pep Guardiola's side, who were unable to reduce the deficit after an insipid display.
City were second best to their well-drilled opponents for long periods, with Traore's two breakaway goals in the final 10 minutes handing Nuno Espirito Santo's side a thoroughly deserved three points.

6' Great Chance! Cutrone miss the one-on-one
Wolves have a golden opportunity to take the lead as Moutinho's pass unlocks City's defence and sets Cutrone through on goal. The striker finds himself in a one-on-one situation with Ederson, but he fires his effort well wide of the right-hand post.
24' Chance! Jimenez down to ground by Fernandinho
Aguero breaks away from Coady to create a pocket of space on the left-hand side of the box, but he then slips over as he bursts towards the byline and Wolves have a goal-kick.
32' Saved! Sterling shot denied by Patricio
City enjoy another prolonged spell of possession and then work the ball towards Sterling who is in a prime shooting position on the edge of the box. He takes a touch and drills an effort towards the right-hand corner, but Patricio dives across to palm it away.
66' Crossbar! David Silva free-kick hits the bar
David Silva wins a free-kick right on the edge of the box after going down under Neves' challenge, and he then strikes the top right-hand side of the crossbar with the resulting set-piece.
80' GOAL! Man City 0-1 Wolves (Traore)
It comes from another counter-attack as Jimenez surges forward from deep before tricking his way past Otamendi just outside the box to unlock the City defence. He then lays it off to Traore on his right who tucks the ball into the bottom right-hand corner from just inside the box.
90'+4' GOAL! Man City 0-2 Wolves (Traore)
It’s the same combination as Jimenez slides a throughball ahead of Traore who is now bearing down on goal, and he then strokes the ball into the bottom right-hand corner to seal the victory!

Things we learnt from the game: 1. We need a good defender, Otamendi and Fernandinho isn’t good there. 2. Without KDB the team is ordinary unlike last year. 3. City forgot to play counter attack, there were plenty if chance to do so but they don’t play counter attack. 4. Wolves is a good team with organized defending and lethal counter attack.

Title has not gone away yet , City are with bad days right now , Liverpool with good ones , but it could be vice versa towards the end. Its Too early to judge the Winner. City is the only team who can scare Klopp and Co till the end. City are missing De-Bruyne-assister , Dont write them off yet.

What a brilliant game that was, Traore just keeps on proving his critics wrong. Thats just the start for the man, and what a tactical genius Nuno is, and well done to Jimenez for those two incredible assists

that's what Klopp says! wining eight matches 1-0 is much better than wining a match 8-0. consistency matters most. Go reds!✌

Ridiculous, MANCHESTER CITY - at once thrashing the Watford squad by 8-0 and now themselves taste the bitter medicine ! but my main concern here is that, City is 8 points behind Liverpool now ! IT'S GOING TO TAKE HELL LOT OF GUTS TO CLEAR THE TABLE NOW.... LIVERPOOL, is looking go for every match and City needs to look at matters more importantly and with more concerns... they were clearly the second best and as we all saw last season too, Wolves have a habit of scrapping points against the Top 6 clubs ! Come back stronger, I hope for a Rockin' season
