Sergio Aguero and Leroy Sane scored as Manchester City stunned Liverpool 2-1 to end their unbeaten run and cut the gap to four points between them. The title race is back on!
Match Report
Leroy Sane's 72nd-minute strike proved decisive as Manchester City reinvigorated their title defence and ended Liverpool's unbeaten Premier League run with a crucial 2-1 win at the Etihad Stadium.
Sergio Aguero put City in front just before half time when he nipped in front of Dejan Lovren and emphatically smashed past Alisson from a seemingly impossible angle
Roberto Firmino looked to have sealed a potentially vital point for leaders Liverpool in the title race when he equalised just past the hour.
But Sane struck soon after, confirming the Reds' first league defeat of the season in their 21st game and moving City to second and within four points of the summit.

This Match should be termed the NOTHING LAST FOREVER Game, it simply means that Liverpool should Buckle up and no team is Indomitable. This is a Wake up call for Jurgen Klop and his Troops, cos the other top Six teams will have a reason to Play and Defeat Liverpool from now on cos they are no longer Invincible. Anyways I missed watching the first important Match of 2019.

WHAT KLOPP WANTED AND WHAT HAPPENED. Klopp's plan was to play a flat non creative hardworking midfield to force City into making mistakes... City responded by playing the same way. It was a tactically balanced game... But Liverpool was ill-fated, a near goal from Mane would have won the tactical battle and open up the play... That didn't happen, instead City exploited the chink in our defense armor the right hand side... A shaky Loveren and a non-defensive Alexander-Arnold who can't put a leg right... and it paid off for them. That was the wake-up call. Then Fabinho came in, in place of a rusty Milner and there was a change in play which led to the goal. Our vibrancy got back and we were going for the kill before a trepid Wynaldum who was already booked could not get hold of Sterling as he slalomed through the middle to lay off the killer pass for Sanรฉ to score. And then City choked the game out. The right hand side is our weakness... Loveren can't be trusted and TAA is not a full back. I'd have preferred pushing Milner in there and playing Fabinho in midfield. Liverpool lacked a forward running midfielder or enforcer someone in the mold of Chamberlain or Keita... I wonder why Keita was ignored? YNWA P.S. It is better to lose now to a big team honourably and get yourself back than implode later in the run. City loss might be the tonic we just need to fire on and go all the way.

Can't believe Pep was parking the bus
He was right to park the bus in the final minutes, not like united that park the bus from 1 - 90 minutes ๐
