Manchester City showed their credentials to be Premier League champions as they fought back from two goals down to beat Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium.

The visitors started the game in electric fashion as they were leading the Champions by two goals in the 21st minute after John Stones deflected the ball into his own net before Joachim Andersen headed past Ederson for his first Palace goal.

Manchester City were not beaten though as they staged a second-half comeback through Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland. Silva fired home in the 53rd minute, which was then followed a Haaland hat-trick to win the game for City.
