A Manchester City fan was seen applauding Julio Enciso's incredible strike for Brighton before it had even hit the back of the net.
City were leading through Phil Foden's goal but Brighton equalised in the 38th minute courtesy of Enciso, who scored with an excellent effort from 25 yards out.
One City supporter behind the goal was quick to recognise the brilliance of the strike.
The draw was sufficient for Brighton to confirm their place in the Europa League for next season.
19-year-old Enciso is thriving in the Premier League and has scored some impressive goals recently.
After the game Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi praised Enciso but stated that he is still looking for improvements from the youngster.
De Zerbi stated that Enciso has 'big, big potential'.
De Zerbi said: 'Julio's goal was incredible. He has big, big potential, I want him to play better and play for the team. If he stays with us I think he can improve.'
City thought that they had restored their lead, but Erling Haaland's goal was ruled out by VAR after he was deemed to have pulled back Brighton defender Levi Colwill.
Brighton face Aston Villa away on Sunday in their final game of the season.
