Manchester City have the most expensive squad in world football, according to leading football transfer website Transfermarkt.
Since the takeover from Sheikh Mansour in 2008, City have assembled a star-studded squad containing some of the world's very best players.
City have enjoyed plenty of success as a result and became the first team in England to complete the domestic treble last season - winning the Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
Despite their achievements, Pep Guardiola has continued to strengthen his ranks, breaking the club's transfer record to sign Rodri from Atletico Madrid in the summer as well as making Joao Cancelo the most expensive full-back in history.
But how much is City's current crop of players worth?
According to Transfermarkt, City have the most expensive squad in world football worth a staggering £1.14billion. That figure eclipses the squad value of both Spanish giants Barcelona (£1.03bn) and Real Madrid (£1.07bn).
In the Premier League, it's no surprise to see Liverpool as City's closest rivals. Jurgen Klopp has completely transformed the team since his takeover with many players enjoying a significant boost to their market value. Liverpool's estimated squad value is £959m.
Surprisingly, Tottenham rank as the third most valuable team in England (£881m) followed by Chelsea (£697m) and Manchester United (£644m).
City's most valuable player is England international Raheem Sterling - according to the website. Sterling's form has improved drastically since Guardiola arrived at the club and the 24-year-old is now worth a whopping £126m.
The winger is considered the third most valuable player in the league behind Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah.
In second is Belgian playmaker Kevin De Bruyne. The midfielder is fit and firing again for the Citizens and is worth a mammoth £117m.
City's market value is boosted by their summer arrival's with Rodri being worth £72m and Cancelo worth £49.5m.
The lowest value player in the squad is third-choice goalkeeper Scott Carson - who joined from Derby on loan in the summer - valued at just £1.8m.

Funny how any city post attracts as many Liverpool haters as it does actual city supporters. Does losing the title last year still hurt?
