The 28-year-old has established himself as arguably the best midfielder in the Serie A after joining Antonio Conte’s side in July 2024.
McTominay joined the champions for a reported fee of £26 million, and according to Caught Offside, United are looking to re-sign him for nearly double that.
Ruben Amorim’s side won’t have a straight run at him, however, with Barcelona, Tottenham, and Newcastle also said to be interested.
The Scotland international remains a key figure for both club and country and is currently preparing for the crucial World Cup qualifier against Greece on Saturday (November 15).

No point bringing him back… this guy isn’t build for the EPL hence his patchy form for MAN UTD… he’s a decent player no doubt but not what we need. He’s doing well in Serie A because the quality over there is poor and he’s not under pressure to perform like he was at MAN UTD, yes he scored a few crucial goals here and there but other than that, what is McTominay specially known for at MAN UTD? Was he a creative player, a good DM, a good passer of the ball, or a set piece specialist, or a good midfield conductor dictating the flow of the game and controlling it?….. bring him back won’t do the club any good…
