On July 13 – According to renowned UK outlet United in Focus, Manchester United have scrapped plans for a £10 million documentary amid financial difficulties and mounting internal tensions.
The report states that since INEOS took control of the club, balancing United’s finances has been their top priority. Sir Jim Ratcliffe has repeatedly spoken of United’s financial troubles, even warning that the club could face bankruptcy by the end of 2025. Ruthless cost-cutting measures – including mass layoffs at Old Trafford and Carrington – have become the norm, while on-field struggles have only worsened the situation.
Although raising funds remains a pressing concern for INEOS, manager Rúben Amorim recently stepped in to halt the production of a club documentary.
It is understood United recently turned down an Amazon-style “All or Nothing” series worth over £10 million after Amorim requested the club pull out of negotiations.
Football finance expert Kieran Maguire backed Amorim’s decision, suggesting United may have avoided significant trouble. He noted the club has already raised a similar sum through their Asian pre-season tour and said INEOS’s hardline management has strained relationships within the club:
“If cameras caught people looking miserable at Carrington, it wouldn’t be a good look. I find this fascinating because INEOS are usually all about revenue maximisation – I would’ve thought they’d take the £10m as long as they had a fair degree of editorial control. That could’ve been the sticking point: the producers may have wanted more control than Ratcliffe and his team were willing to give. This documentary could very easily have cost them £10m in negative PR.”

It’s seems like the club has gotten worse since sir jimmy took over
Even from the time The Glazer boys took over from their Late Father things had fall apart so badly. I feel ashamed of myself being a fan of Manchester United jealous of Chelsea on how things are turning well for the good structures layout

All followers of Greater Manchester United are disappointed by the way sell out and sign in players. We are tired of being silent about this transfers window. The Glazers and Ratcliffe have nothing to offer. The fans are waiting for any good news but they always wait until the deadline or the last day to offer panic buyings .what a Hell we live.May God save Man United today.owners of man united are blind and Hopeless in Football World.so serious.

I was genuinely surprised to learn that INEOS may not have the financial firepower many assumed, yet they still went head-to-head with Qatar’s superpower bid for Manchester United. Had Qatar succeeded, they likely would’ve infused the club with substantial funds and propelled United back to greatness. Instead, it feels like INEOS is steering the club in the wrong direction. How can a team facing a clear shortage of strikers choose to loan out its experienced forwards without securing proper replacements? After a disastrous season, they’ve only brought in one first-team signing, while rival clubs are reinforcing even their less vulnerable positions. It’s baffling and deeply frustrating.

financial woes?!? didn't they just buy Cunha for a shit load of money?🤣🤔 dees niggas!!!🤣🤣👌
That’s all they had because remember Erickson and the other defender are off their payroll so this freed up space and money for them to hire one and unfortunately they went for an expensive one, now they must sell first in order to buy.

The person that is negotiating Man u contract should be sack asap , how can all Man u players earn above 300k per week whats happening. now 5 players are there that they are not playing but earn higher. Imagine Sancho , Rasford Gernoco and the other brazil guy earn above 300k per week without doing anything for the club now they have refuse to reduce there salary for other club to sign them . Sancho is the worst of them 100m players want to runs down his contract and did not want Man u to gain anything on his head
