Manchester United exile Alejandro Garnacho has been spotted out with a mystery brunette as speculation continues over his future on and off the pitch.

The 21-year-old winger, frozen out by boss Ruben Amorim, cut a casual figure in a white baseball-style top, black shorts and sliders as he strolled with his female companion, who wore a fitted brown tracksuit.

It comes just weeks after Garnacho's long-term partner Eva Garcia, mother of his son Enzo, unfollowed him on Instagram amid claims of a split.

The Argentina international was previously linked with Spanish influencer Ona Gonfaus after rumours of a caravan getaway together.

While his personal life dominates headlines, his professional future remains unresolved. Garnacho has been left out of United's opening two matchday squads and is eager to join Chelsea.

United reportedly rejected a swap deal involving 19-year-old Tyrique George but remain locked in talks with the Blues, with Garnacho thought to be valued at around £50million.

The winger has already turned down Bayern Munich as he waits on a move to Stamford Bridge.

Relations with supporters have soured after fans defaced his image outside Old Trafford, while Amorim has banished him to a five-man 'bomb squad'.

Garnacho is believed to have informed the Red Devils that he is prepared to sit on the bench for the next six months or the entire season.

Garnacho had long been viewed as one of United's brightest prospects since breaking through in 2021. He has played 144 games for the club, scoring 26 goals and providing 22 assists, and was part of the sides that won the FA Cup in 2024 and the Carabao Cup in 2023.

But his relationship with Amorim collapsed in May after he was left on the bench for most of the Europa League final against Tottenham in Bilbao. His brother Roberto hit out at the manager for 'throwing him under the bus' and the fallout led to Garnacho being told to find a new club.

Napoli were heavily linked earlier in the summer, with president Aurelio De Laurentiis claiming the winger would 'become twice the player' away from Old Trafford. Serie A champions even had a £40m bid turned down in January, but Chelsea have since emerged as the only destination Garnacho is focused on.

Chelsea's interest remains strong, though they need to move on Nicolas Jackson or Christopher Nkunku before making a formal bid. Talks between the clubs are described as positive, with United keen to secure the highest possible fee to help their PSR balance.

The situation has also impacted Garnacho's international standing. He was left out of Lionel Scaloni's Argentina squad for upcoming World Cup qualifiers in September and, without regular minutes, faces a fight to make the 2026 tournament.

The winger has been training alone at Carrington throughout the summer alongside Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia, players also told they could leave.

United insiders believe the standoff could continue until the final week of the window, with Garnacho prepared to hold firm on his Chelsea preference.
