Joel Glazer has promised to speak to Manchester United fans at an end-of-season forum following the furious backlash to the European Super League project.
Protesting supporters forced the postponement of last Sunday's match with Liverpool at Old Trafford, making clear their opposition to the club's ownership.
Now, executive co-chairman Glazer has committed to greater engagement with United's fanbase and also to invest in the club's infrastructure in an open letter published on Friday afternoon.
More to follow.

Actions speaks louder than words. It's just a PR stunt.Just couple of days back Avram Glazers refused to apologise,we know what they really think of us. If you are really sorry 1. Clear the debts that was put onto us by you on a historically debt free self sustainable club. 2. Put the 1.5 billion you took out of the club back so we can use the money on OT and training ground. 3. And third but most important leave. Saying that they are sorry means nothing when all they have done is use the club as cash cow. If not for Sir Alex winning 13 titles in something like 27 years you would never be able to that much money,When he arrived we had less league titles than Arsenal,Everton and similar to that of Villa,Liverpool had double the amount of our league title,Nottingham Forrest had more CL trophy than Man Utd and Villa won it as many times as us. And he made Man Utd the most successful club in England with self generating money. And they are just using us as a cash cow as if they they made us great. We owe nothing to Glazers.

A word to all United supporters, we are stuck with the glazers. There is no one out there that is willing to pay 3.5billion for United. Take advantage of there offer get MUST on to the board and start working from the inside to change things. In America owners do what they want to make money, they will move a team from one city to another to make more money and supporters just accept it, with the reaction to ESL by football supporters here came as a big surprise and I think the penny has dropped with American owners this ain’t America. So let’s use this opportunity to go forward together with supporters on the board putting the fans point of view of how they need to change the way the club was being run
