Zirkzee, 24, has had limited chances at Man United so far this season, starting just three of his Premier League games.
Despite giving him so few chances, Amorim is insisting that he stays with the club beyond the January transfer window.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Zirkzee will continue to push for a winter exit and has said ‘yes’ to an offer from AS Roma.
The report adds that the striker has held positive talks with Roma sporting director Ricky Massara and manager Gian Piero Gasperini, who assures Zirkzee he will fit into his 3-4-2-1 system perfectly.

It's a difficult situation when players want game time and want to leave, especially with the world cup coming, but teams want them to stay in case injuries occur at the club and will want options when that happens, even though that means players playing less. Managers/Clubs have to do better in terms of players getting time on the field, otherwise what's the point of buying playes from other teams just to keep them on the bench 🤷🏽♂️
