Sevilla are really makin' us Laliga fans proud. When are these EPL fans will finally understand their league is nowhere near ours. They got weak defences bumpin' at each other and as result you see great scorelines 4-4, 6-3,... which makes their league more entertaining. But a tougher league ? Not even close. Once again, EPL got exposed in Champions league. Sevilla who got smashed in Laliga by 5 nill in one half against RMA, 5-3 at homes vs Betis, 5-2 against Atletico, beaten just last weekend by Valencia at home, 5th of the league, handled Man U (2nd of EPL) perfectly at Old Trafford. 'Physical league' is a line EPL fans use frequently thinkin' it's an argument on their favour while it's against them. Their defenders are big, strong, physical, which makes them slow, stiff. Terry, Luiz, Smalling, Stones, Merte... too tall they can't even run, against Laliga's fast short brainy technical players, Banega, Ben Yedder, Messi, Iniesta, Isco, Modric... they don't stand a chance, they're too slow, they can't deal with their moves, they get ousmarted. That's why players like that, Hazard, Coutinho, Lanzini... did so well in Premier League. In England players attack the body and leave the ball reason why their tackles are hard and refs don't whistle much, in Spain only the ball matters. Much more tactical than physical. In EPL the game isn't played until on the field while in Laliga the game is played in the managers' heads days and days before the game. Another game and the conclusion is the same, PL teams are good facing each other, but when it's time to face teams of Laliga, the best league in the world, it's not as good as it used to be anymore and we've seen it today again. Really saddened by United's performance today. Bailey was the only United player who turned up for the game, covering for Smalling & making crucial tackles. Sanchez was more of a Sevilla player than United's. Spurs & now United losing at home with the chance of Chelsea progressing so slim its almost invincible. Liverpool & Citizens are the only ones left to rep us in Europe. So sad.
