Manchester United and Juventus are 'closing in on an incredible swap deal' that would see Paulo Dybala move to Old Trafford with Romelu Lukaku going the other way.
According to Corriere dello Sport in Italy, the swap is 'ready', with a deal very close to being agreed between the two clubs.
Juve sporting director Fabio Paratici is said to be pressing to convince the Argentine that a move to Old Trafford would work, with the end of the English transfer window edging ever closer.
United are trying to secure a deal, but will not let Lukaku go after the window shuts on August 8 - despite technically being able to still sell players until the end of the month.
Inter Milan are another club still in the hunt for £80m-rated Lukaku, but are reported to have fallen down the pecking order slightly with the emergence of Juve's interest.
The Belgian striker has not travelled with his United team-mates to a training camp in Norway this week, further hinting at his impending exit.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given the 26-year-old four days to complete his move away, and although he looks set for a move to Italy, it is as yet unclear exactly where.

People saying it’s a crap deal for Juventus are deeply mistaken, if Man U had a player who could send in a decent cross lukaku would have scored close to or around 30 goals last year as he did in his first season with United, plus realistically he wasn’t too bad this season, considering he had less of a chance but still managed to do as much or arguably more than martial, Sanchez, rashford and lingard, and he’s on track to be one of if not possibly the best foreign striker to ever play in the premier league if he doesn’t leave, United also need to make a big name signing who can help them convince pogba to stay and fight for the badge and to bring the big European games back to old Trafford, Dybala is perfect for that considering they took juve to a champions league final together, Dybala and ronaldo clearly don’t work in the same team as he doesn’t with Messi for Argentina, he also needs a fresh start at a club where he can become one of the top 5 players in the world as he has the potential to, plus it would be massive for him commercially, both of them really. And most importantly for juve, it ruins inter Milan, they now don’t get the striker they’ve been chasing who would be a first clsss replacement for icardi considering he can’t solve his issues with the club, and this leaves them with nobody to sell him to and no one as good as lukaku on the open market to poach, seems like both clubs have it spot on for me.
