A report in the UK media says that Manchester United are holding out for a fee of over 160m euros for Real Madrid target Paul Pogba.
Having signed Rodrygo, Eder Militao, Luka Jovic, Eden Hazard and Ferland Mendy, Real Madrid must now focus on strengthening in midfield, with Tottenham's Christian Eriksen and Manchester United's Paul Pogba the LaLiga giants' chief targets.
And according to a report in the UK media on Wednesday, the 13-time European champions will have to dig extremely deep if it is to be Pogba.
United in strong Pogba bargaining position
The Mirror says Madrid are prepared to pay 135m pounds (151.6m euros) for the France star, but with United reluctant to sell and under no pressure to do so - his contract doesn't expire until 2021 and can be unilaterally extended by 12 months - the Red Devils are holding out for more.
Red Devils after 150m pounds for star
Indeed, the Premier League club are reportedly set to use their strong bargaining position to demand a figure of around 150m pounds (168.5m euros) for the 26-year-old World Cup winner - a fee that Madrid appear unlikely to part with.
Pogba, who cost United a club-record 105m euros when he rejoined the 20-time English champions from Juventus in summer 2016, made 47 appearances last season, scoring 16 goals and supplying 11 assists.

This. I don't like Pogba when he is the best player in the team by far. He becomes a diva and doesn't have the mentality to carry a team on his shoulders. His talent is undeniable and he would most likely excel at Madrid.

Hasn't been as good as Pogba in those good positions. Not saying he's not good, both are at almost same level and Pogba is better for me so maybe its a personal fit thing for Zidane and Real Madrid. With the younger age 50 million more than Eriksson's 100mill demand by Spurs, make Pogba a better choice. It looks like we are adamant to get him anyway.

Eriksen > Pogba The thing is form is big for both of these guys, Pogba surrounded by world class talent and a manager who speaks his language, a legend of the game he idolizes, maybe he won't be as lazy, Real has the quality to keep him out of the starting 11 if he slacks, in that sense Pogba > Eriksen. Eriksen seems like he goes quiet for no other reason then he just isn't up for it that game. It's not a personality issue, it's just he doesn't have anything to dial up that game.

over 160 for pogba. they won't buy him. the sway deal with them 3 juventus players for pogba is a sweet deal but then we still won't have the back locked. i believe they want that much to either buy that giant at napoli koulibaly, or they realize that oogba is really and truly a talented and great player on his day nobody can out play, out run oe do more work on the field than he can do. i would say hold on to pogba, sweeten attend to his sweet tooth at Man U a lil more and let him feel and know that he's a world class player we not willing to let go. Hell, make him captain. don't give it back to Young
