Man United are on the hunt for a new permanent manager after parting ways with Ruben Amorim
Manchester United will have no chance of convincing Luis Enrique to be their next manager, because there is no way that the Spaniard would want to work for the 'circus' at Old Trafford.
That's the view of former Premier League winner Emmanuel Petit, who played alongside the Paris Saint-Germain boss at Barcelona in the 2000/01 La Liga season.
Enrique has gone on to win two Spanish league titles and the Champions League with the Catalan giants before repeating the feat with PSG in France. The 55-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best managers in the world as a result, but there is next to no chance of him becoming the next main man at United, according to Petit.

Speaking to German outlet Hochgepokert, the French World Cup winner said: "Luis Enrique to Man Utd? I know that Luis Enrique hasn’t signed an extension at PSG, but I'm pretty sure that Luis Enrique is an intelligent guy. He knows perfectly that he cannot achieve anything bigger than what he did last season with Paris Saint-Germain.
"The Qatari owners were looking for that for ages and with Luis Enrique, they achieved their dream of winning the Champions League, they were playing brilliantly as well.
"Now, Luis Enrique knows exactly what he did last season. He cannot repeat it. That's why he doesn't want to sign another contract with PSG.
"Should he go to Manchester United? The circus of Manchester United? Do you think a guy like Luis Enrique would work there? Since the Qatari owners arrived at Paris Saint-Germain, they had never given the power to their manager.
"They always controlled the dressing room, who was going to be out of the club, who was going to come to the club. Then they gave the power to Luis Enrique and they won the Champions League."

United are once again on the lookout for a new boss after Amorim was given his marching orders, just 14 months after his predecessor Erik ten Hag was also sacked.
Interim boss Michael Carrick got off to the best possible start at the weekend when he guided the Red Devils to a 2-0 win over their bitter neighbours Manchester City. The former United midfielder is all too aware that his job is a temporary one however, as owners INEOS try to find a high-profile replacement for Amorim.
But Petit believes it is a lack of power over football matters that will prevent United from landing someone like Enrique.
The ex-Arsenal midfielder said: "He has the power [at PSG] to say, ‘No, I want to keep him. Sell this player. Bring this player.’ So if he comes, if he goes to Manchester United, do you think that will work with all these clowns behind him at Manchester United?
"Those guys are saying to the manager, ‘You should do this. You should play this player. Why did you say you would like to get this player? No, no, no, we are not focused on him. We are planning to bring another player,’
"Just like what happened with Enzo Maresca to Chelsea. Can you imagine the likes of Pep Guardiola, Luis Enrique, Jurgen Klopp, Carlo Ancelotti, or Jose Mourinho coming to Manchester United in their current state? Not a chance.
"It’s like they want a puppet, I’d challenge them to go and sit on that bench instead of putting pressure on the manager."
United have not won a Premier League title since Sir Alex Ferguson departed from the club in 2013. Since then, they have worked their way through eight permanent managers and two caretakers (Carrick twice) all to no avail.
The only circumstances under which serial winner Enrique could even consider taking on the job have been laid out by Petit, who won the Premier League title as a player with the Gunners in 1998.
He added: "If I was Luis Enrique and Man Utd wanted me, I would have one condition, to be the manager, not the head coach, he needs to demand control.
"Would they agree? I'm not sure about that. We have seen how disastrous this club is. It's Ineos behind that. And Ineos as well at Nice are doing such bad, bad work. For the same reason.
"So good luck for the next manager, Michael Carrick. Good luck to him. Good luck for the next manager as well.
"They will probably get a new manager for sure. Why? Because the next manager will get the guarantee to get so much money. After five months, he will be fired and will leave the club with between £10-15 million."

People will never read and understand the story, only rushing to comments section to type nonsense,.. they said Luiz cannot coach Man United not because Man United is not good but because the board cannot give him free hand in decision making like he's having in PSG right now,.. Man United board are the ones making decisions for coach like the way Chelsea is doing now,.. which is pure truth because Luiz could have been a Chelsea coach is the board had agreed with him when he came to Stamford bridge two years ago to take Chelsea job
Too many dumb people on this app

United can attract Luis Enrique to old Trafford. He'll fancy working in the epl and united are arguably the biggest club in England and a very attractive side and the mostly likely big team to join in EPL

These idiots always mistake United for their second rate clubs. No matter how disastrous things get, the biggest managers will always fancy working there because it’s Manchester United!!!! Managers are very egotistical and the next manager to get us back to winning ways will go down as a legend.
many big managers have rejected Manchester United job, cause Manchester United board will employ you as a manager and want to turn you to a head coach
