Manchester United have, according to Tuttosport, once again contacted Hakan Calhanoglu’s agent to discuss the player’s move to Old Trafford as a free agent.
The contract of the Turkey international with Milan runs until June 2021 but the two parties are not even close to reaching an agreement.
Calhanoglu is on a €2.5m-a-year deal with the Rossoneri but reports in Italy claim his agent has requested a new €7m-a-year contract.
As per Tuttosport, Manchester United have once again contacted the player’s agent Gordon Stipic to discuss Calhanoglu’s move to the Old Trafford as a free agent at the end of the season.
Juventus remain interested in signing the 26-year-old who visited his compatriot and Old Lady’s defender Merih Demiral in Turin last week, sparking speculations about his possible move to Turin.
According to the paper, however, the Old Lady are not convinced to offer the former Bayer Leverkusen star a €7m-a-year contract.
