Manchester United have got their own Justin Bieber in new signing Wout Weghorst after footage dropped of the striker's 'unreal' singing.
Weghorst joined the Red Devils on loan until the end of the season from Burnley last week. The forward spent the first half of the season banging in goals for Turkish side Besiktas before making the £2.5million switch to Old Trafford.
And along with his attacking prowess, the 30-year-old brings his impressive vocals to the Theatre of Dreams. The Netherlands star showed off his superb singing abilities while serenading his former Wolfsburg team-mates during his time at the German side between 2018 and 2022, before he joined Burnley.
In the clip, Weghorst can be seen sitting down with his eyes closed whilst belting out the lyrics of Neyo's smash hit 'So Sick', to the delight of his team-mates who clapped along to the words, in what appeared to be a private party. At one point, Weghorst's singing impressed his peers so much that they egged him in on by shouting 'woooh' in unison during the makeshift concert.
The adulation seemed to spur Weghorst on even more as he sung his heart out to his peers. And although he completely nailed Neyo's song, fans reckoned he sounded more like pop icon Bieber.
One fan mused on Twitter: "Manchester United signed Justin Bieber," with a crying face emoji. And another impressed fan added: "As a result, he also scores off the field."
A third user gushed: "Cor what a talent!". Before a fourth person chipped in: "Never seen a footballer sing this good," as a cascade of compliments flooded in for the latest United arrival's singing abilities.
United fans will be hoping they'll be able to sing along with the forward at the end of the season if he helps them win some silverware. But Weghorst has got some work to do to convince United's fans that he was a good buy, although football legend Gordan Strachan blasted supporters who questioned the attacker's acquisition, claiming that they don't know much about the sport.
