Manchester United are set for a £155m swoop for Benfica stars Ruben Dias and Joao Felix.

But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side face competition for both players from Juventus, who are also ready to meet the asking price.

United are believed to have held discussions with super agent Jorge Mendes about wonderkid Joao Felix. The 19-year-old has been hailed as the country's brightest talent since Ronaldo and is valued by Benfica at £90m.

But Juventus are not the only other club sniffing around, with Manchester City also tracking the exciting attacking midfielder.

United have also sent scouts to watch £65m defender Ruben Dias as Solskjaer looks to bolster his defence and return the Red Devils to the top next season. Centre-back Dias, 21, has been watched this season by a host of Europe's top clubs including Juventus , Bayern Munich and PSG.

United, as well as Serie A powerhouses Juventus, are ready to spend big on both players, according to Record .

United have a long history of monitoring Portuguese football's hottest prospects and appointed a new Portuguese first-team scout, Joao Ferreira, two years ago.

Diogo Dalot is the latest Portuguese player to impress at Manchester United.

Although signed as a right-back, he has impressed further forward on the wing in United's last two games - the 3-2 win over Southampton on Saturday and Wednesday's 3-1 victory at Crystal Palace.

Some fans even compared him to Cristiano Ronaldo on social media, while he has also been likened to Deco.

Dalot, Ronaldo, Anderson, Nani, Bebe, Marcos Rojo, and Victor Lindelof all joined United after stints in Portugal.
