Manchester United reportedly have no intention of selling Juventus target Paul Pogba this summer.
Pogba announced his desire to leave United for ‘a new challenge’ earlier on Sunday, but the Evening Standard claims he has been told he will remain a United player next season.
The newspaper explains club chief Ed Woodward is ‘determined’ to keep the Red Devils’ record signing and expects him to report back for preseason training next month.
On the other hand, it is warned his remarks came after the English side ‘refused to even entertain bids’ and that boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may not want to keep the midfielder if he is unhappy.
If United do end up letting the Frenchman leave, the Evening Standard expects them to demand a fee in the region of £130m (€145m).
As well as a return to Juve, the 26-year-old has been heavily linked with joining Zinedine Zidane’s new-look Real Madrid and former side Juventus.

I agree, correct me if I’m wrong but Sergio Ramos has been saying he wants to leave Madrid for 5 years. Earns him a nice new contract and bonuses. Pogba will get the armband and a new deal to stay!

Rooney stated his desire to leave the club because the club "isn't showing enough ambition". Fergie brought in RVP and Kagawa Rooney sulked at his diminished game time. Pogba is a talented footballer. But he's often self-indulgent & the club is presently toxic. Let the man go

If United must sell guys like Pogba and Lukaku then they absolutely must have replacements in before the sales and should under no circumstances take players that aren’t their ideal and who likely won’t be super pleased at being made to join us.

I hope he doesn’t play like he was forced to stay. It’s either he’s in or out, don’t want no half baked commitment in the club

This Pogba saga could be absolutely ridiculous, nothing better for media buzz than a player wanting to leave and a club that won’t sell. Madrid can’t afford his wages without big changes, and I can’t see him joining any other club apart from them or Barcelona.

What's the point of keeping a player who doesn't want to work? Sell him and move on. Cautinho is a very good example and look where Liverpool are now. Players come and go and the club still moves on. His bad attitude is well documented and some players have also followed in his wayward ways. Indeed Mou was correct when he said Paul is a virus. Please let him go for the good of the dressing room. Keeping him will only cause disunity within the club.

The best thing would be to sell Pogba and invest the gained money elsewhere...young dynamic players are needed cuz rn Manchester United can't seem to get the best out of their players Pogba is actually a beast but his mentality does not suit ours maybe at Madrid he would do better and Maybe United can do better without Pogba...who knws and there is no hesitation for me to accept that United are nowhere close they were and we as fans can't rely on our past to defend our present state..we need to build this team again like Sir Matt Busby did....we need a manager like Klopp or Pochettino who can get the best out of the young players and make them superstars...

Either sell him for the right price or let him sit out. Enough is enough. This is not about him winning something, this is about him and his greedy agent making money. Those who say that he was the best United player last season forget that most of his goals came from penalties and his midfield work was nothing special. In a team of mediocre players, he of course looked better. He is not a good team player and obviously doesn't care a damn for our club. He thinks he is a galactico so let him go to the galacticos. We will see how many Balon d'Or he wins. So if Madrid can pay, let them have this prima Donna. If not, let him rot on the bench.
