Manchester City have a three-man shortlist as their search for a left-back continues, and could turn to Borussia Dortmund star Raphael Guerreiro.
Having pulled out of the race for Marc Cucurella last week, City have discussed a number of potential options for the position and Guerreiro is a name that has been previously mentioned.
The 28-year-old has made 189 appearances for Dortmund since joining them in 2016, scoring 34 goals and notching-up 37 assists.
The Portuguese international was part of Portugal's Euro 2016 winning squad and has been capped 56 times by his country since making his debut in 2014.
Also on City's list is said to be Stuttgart's Borna Sosa and Alex Grimaldo of Benfica as possible options to fill their left-back void.
Stuttgart would demand a fee of around £17million for Croatian international Sosa who has also been linked with a move to West Ham United.
26-year-old Grimaldo is also seen in the same price bracket and has already played three games for Benfica this season.
Pep Guardiola's side currently only have one recognised first-team left back in the squad in Joao Cancelo, following the sale of Oleksandr Zinchenko to Arsenal, and are keen to bolster that area before the close of the transfer window.
They have also said to be closing in on the signing of Anderlecht left-back Sergio Gomez. No formal bid has been made, but talks are at an advance stage to bring the 21-year-old to the Etihad.
Manchester City kicked-off their Premier League campaign with a comfortable 2-0 win over West Ham on Sunday and will host Bournemouth this weekend in their first home game of the season.
