Manchester United have reportedly agreed a deal to sell Andreas Pereira to Flamengo for £12million.
The midfielder has been on loan at the Brazilian club since last August, making 25 appearances and scoring five goals.
He is now set to permanently depart Old Trafford, calling an end to an 11-year spell with the Red Devils.
According to Brazilian journalist Fred Caldeira, Manchester United will receive bonuses for 75 per cent of Pereira’s rights on top of the £12million transfer fee.
Flamengo have been keen to secure the permanent signing of the 26-year-old despite his error in November’s Copa Libertadores final costing them the trophy against Palmeiras.
Pereira’s heavy touch in extra-time of the showpiece game allowed Deyverson to snatch possession and slot the ball past Diego Alves, making it 2-1.
Having joined United at the age of 15, Pereira made his senior debut in the humiliating 4-0 defeat to MK Dons in the League Cup in August 2014.
After loan spells in La Liga with Granada and Valencia, it was not until the 2018-19 campaign where he became a more regular fixture at Old Trafford.
Pereira won the club’s goal of the season award that year for his sensational effort from outside of the box against Southampton.
In total, the one-cap Brazilian international made 75 appearances for United in all competitions – the last of which came in August 2020.

Well Man United has managed to recover a substantial amount from Pereira"s acquisition but honestly this guy isn't worth that much.

Even Saúl Ñíguez is a better option now as striker than Lukaku who doesn't seem to care enough
I think Tuchel should go back for the system he played in the end of the season with Havertz as second st

In terms of football ability, Lukaku is fantastic and he's showed it when he's actually interested. He would have been a success if his heart was still at the club and he still had the desire to play for Chelsea. But clearly I'm questioning his motivation and desire to be here. The reason he's not performing now has nothing to do with his lack of pressing. He's not even making the runs anymore as he used to. I mean you can clearly see the difference between the performances vs Brighton and Aston Villa before the interview, and the performances against Plymouth Argyle, Brighton in the recent fixture, and Tottenham after the interview.
I had always dought Lukaku in possession based system. He is good in Counter Attacking system where first touch isn't more valuable. He has been underperforming even before that interview.I always dought players with poór first touch in pl.Most of them don't make it

You can try Luis Hall [Crylaugh][Crylaugh]as a striker even tough he is a midfielder.

Few months ago you were saying Lukaku is the best option for Chelsea system and Haaland and others are overrated 😂😆😅

I want us to win, not make more money 🤦🏻♂️ When you have players like Lukaku who cost a fortune and still don't perform, then trust me, you'll feel happier not having a player whom you're forced to pick just for the sake of protecting his market value. I don't like what Chelsea have gotten themselves into. We've wasted millions on trásh players who are not even committed to the club.

Don't take my words wrong.I seriously don't want a board like Chelsea😂.Who sacks manager so often.I am just backing them as a buisness point of view. They run a very sustainable buisness model that's it.The system i like the most is Leicester City, Brighton and Brentford.Especially Brentford. Those guys literally scrapped there u 18 and u 21.Imagine a club run who literally scrap there youth academy 😂.I love Brentford strategy

That's because we got a stupîd board and manager. We could have easily got good money for players Torriea,Guendouzi,Auba and Kola of we haven't isolated then from the squad. In the summer of 2021 we were interested in signing Jorginho for just £15 mil but now it's totally different because Chelsea knows how to get the money out from players. They didn't sold kepa after a bad season they waited and now they got bargaining right again. No club isolate players like we do, that's why we don't make good money from players sales. See for example Juve is going to get £27 mil for Kuluvask or whatever his name is.That guy only scored 1 goal this season i guess.

Yeah you're right. Although Kolašinac was injured for 5-6 weeks recently. Chambers and Mustafi were getting chances in cup games but they left for free too, ik they had contracts expiring in the summer and they're shıt players but Juve signed Zakaria for €7m last month (he's good though).

I was very surprised, we somehow managed to get £40m for Ox too. But now we are selling players for free it's getting irritating.
