Premier League giants Manchester United have been fined by UEFA for breaking Financial Fair Play rules in 2022.
The Red Devils have been handed a £260,000 for 'minor break-even deficits' but claim UEFA's punishment will not affect their summer transfer activity.
United have released the following statement: 'This reflected a change in the way that Uefa adjusted for COVID-19 losses during the 2022 reporting period, which allowed us to recognise only €15m (£12.8m) of the €281m (£240m) of revenues lost due to the pandemic.
