According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United could offload three more players, saving £260,000 in weekly wages.

Manchester United may still clear out more players before the transfer deadline at 11 PM on Tuesday.

The Manchester United squad managed by Carrick could continue to be streamlined before the transfer deadline. Several players are expected to leave Old Trafford before 11 PM on Tuesday, saving the club millions of pounds in its current wage bill.

Recently, Toby Collyer joined West Bromwich Albion for an initial transfer fee of £3 million plus up to £4.6 million in add-ons, which also reduced Manchester United's annual salary expenditure by over £200,000. If the midfielder later leaves the Championship club, Manchester United will retain 40% of any future sell-on fee.

Goalkeepers Altay Bayindir and André Onana are currently on loan at Celta Vigo and Trabzonspor, respectively. Other permanent departures include Rasmus Højlund, Radek Vítek, Casemiro, and Jadon Sancho, collectively reducing Manchester United's annual wage bill by £33 million.

Carrick is still looking to move more players out and may complete further operations in the final stages of the transfer window. The following is the Manchester Evening News's breakdown of Manchester United's current player salaries and potential departures.

Joshua Zirkzee may leave on loan. Fiorentina was initially leading the race for him but is now preparing to sign Beto from Everton, and Juventus has also made inquiries about the Dutchman.

He was on the bench but did not play in Manchester United's 5-1 victory over Ipswich on Sunday and has been linked with a move away all summer. Left-back Harry Amass is also likely to leave on loan, and Carrick spoke last week about his prospects.

The Manchester United manager said: "At this stage of the transfer window, there are always some situations, and it's not just Harry—it's the stage the transfer window is at. It's about building the squad, adjusting the structure, and deciding which young players to loan out or develop, a combination of various different situations.

"I think we always try to make the best decision for every player while maintaining the overall strength of the team. I've always been very happy with Harry. He performed well last season but then got injured and the season didn't end well. It was good to have him around in preseason—he's done an excellent job. So let's see what happens. But he played very well recently."

Finally, Mason Mount is still viewed by Carrick as a player who can have a "huge impact" at Manchester United. However, with Youri Tielemans, Andrey Santos, and Carlos Baleba all joining to strengthen the midfield, if Mount receives an offer to leave before the transfer window closes, the club might allow it.

An ankle injury kept him out of the loss to Hull City, and he was completely left out of the squad for Manchester United's impressive 5-1 win against Ipswich. Coventry City had been seen as a potential destination for Mount, with the aim of reuniting him with former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard. If all three players leave Old Trafford, Manchester United could save £260,000 per week, reducing total annual expenditure by £13.5 million.
