Alexis Sanchez has suggested Manchester United have 'more history' than Arsenal ahead of facing them at the weekend.
The Chilean made a dramatic switch from north London to United in the January transfer window after refusing to sign a new contract at Arsenal, with his deal running out in the summer.
And, after some initial struggles, he is finally settling at United, impressing in his side's FA Cup semi-final victory against Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend.
But Sanchez has admitted he is still struggling to adapt to some of the differences between the two teams.
'It is very different here,' Alexis told MUTV. 'I think United is a club with more history and we want to win trophies next year.
'We need to keep progressing; United is a big club, to which I am still adapting, and I am looking forward to giving everything I've got next year and aiming to win everything there is to win.'
The 29-year-old is also already looking forward to United's return to Wembley for the FA Cup final in May.
'The truth is that I score every time I play at Wembley!' he added. 'I have won several trophies there with my national team and with Arsenal. With Chile, I also scored two goals and that means a lot to me. Wembley brings me good luck.
'We are very happy to have reached the final. I think Saturday's match was the most perfect one since I joined United, and that makes me very happy for what lies ahead.'
United face Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

In which part of those histories did you take part, Alexis? You have more history with Arsenal than your Utd career. Everyone knows Utd won more trophies than Arsenal but you havent won anything with Utd yet

It's too early for Sanchez to make such ungentlemanly comment about a club that took you to the highest level in your career. While in Italy and Spain , Sanchez proved he's a quality player but it was Arsenal that made him world class. I don't know how long Sanchez will stay at United and at what level he can perform during his stay at the club. I think Arsenal deserve some respect from Alexis.

I know Arsenal has been a disgrace resently but I'm a true fan and supporter and always will be. if you can support a team like Arsenal then you deserve a medal
sure I always say to my kid sis never to date a Chelsea fan cos they aren't patient but rather an arsenal fan cos they are very tolerant and understanding even if things are so bad and their hearts broken they would still remain faithful
