According to Sky journalist Dharmesh Sheth, Manchester United are considering a loan move for Christopher Nkunku (27) from Chelsea before the January transfer window. The Premier League club have held a long-standing interest in the France international attacking midfielder.
The potential idea of a swap deal including Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho and the 27-year-old was discussed, according to Sky Germany. However, it appears the Red Devils are focusing on a temporary move for the PSG academy graduate with a permanent move looking difficult to complete.
Despite Manchester United preferring a loan move for Nkunku, the West London club still hold an interest in Garnacho. The 20-year-old has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in the winter window but it appears any transfer would now be separate to any move United make for the Frenchman.
