Manchester United want to sign Jordi Alna, the Barcelona left back, according to TalkSPORT. The Red Devils want to sound out the defender and his people to see if he would like to move from Barca, where he has not been able to renew his contract as promised by the board.
Alba is a bit annoyed about that and his deal ends in June 2020, after he last renewed it in 2015. His people are not happy that Barcelona have not made any movements or calls on that subject.
Man United, aware of the situation, are interested. They would like to add the player, who signed in 2012 for Barca from Valencia, to their squad. Alba is waiting for Barcelona’s call but his patience with the club could run out. Alba knows he would not lack offers from elsewhere, even though his intention is to stay at Barcelona.
Man United for now are alert to what is happening at Camp Nou. It’s not the first time they have been interested in Alba either.

jordi Alba has a special connection with messi he has assisted Messi a lot and vice versa and I don't think jordi Alba is willing to trade that for any club
