Mane, Kimmich & Muller lead Bayern's UCL squad list for Man City clash

Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have confirmed a 22-man travelling squad list to take on Manchester City in the Champions League this week.

The two sides go head-to-head in the quarter-finals of the competition at the Etihad Stadium, in the first of two meetings between the clubs in England and then in Germany midway through next week.

Both Pep Guardiola and Thomas Tuchel will be working to take an advantage into the second portion of 90 minutes at the Allianz Arena in Germany next week, with Manchester City also in the midst of a crunch run of fixtures across competitions.

As Bayern Munich make the journey from Bavaria to Manchester, the Bundesliga champions have also announced a 22-man squad list to take on Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night.

Goalkeepers: Ulreich, Sommer, Schenk.

Defenders: Upamecano, De Ligt, Pavard, Davies, Sarr, Cancelo, Blind, Mazraoui, Stanisic.

Midfielders: Kimmich, Goretzka, Muller, Gravenberch, Musiala.

Manuel Neuer, Lucas Hernandez, and striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting are absent from the travelling contingent making the journey from Bavaria on Monday, with the latter having been confirmed as an absentee on the same day.

The centre-forward is said to be struggling from ‘knee-joint problems’, while the former pairing are both subject to longer-term injuries keeping them away from the squad for a prolonged period of time.
