Mane's wife, 18, says she's never heard of Georgina after making humble vow

Sadio Mane's new wife Aisha Tamba has admitted she has never heard of Cristiano Ronaldo's partner Georgina Rodriguez after recently tying the knot with the former Liverpool star.

There is a strong chance that Aisha could cross paths with Ronaldo's girlfriend given her new husband is a team-mate of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner at Al-Nassr. However, Mane's bride has since confessed she isn't clued up on Ronaldo's personal life. "I don’t know who she is and I don’t do any social media," she explained.

Rodriguez has been seen at a number of Al-Nassr fixtures and could soon be spotted in the stands alongside Aisha. Whether Mane's wife will follow in the footsteps of Ronaldo's significant other and don the Saudi side's shirt in the crowd remains to be seen.

Aisha, 18, married ex- Liverpool and Bayern Munich forward Mane, 31, in an Islamic arranged marriage ceremony in Keur Massar, near Dakar, Senegal, on January 7. The nuptials sparked quite the scene on social media, with many weighing in to have their say on the significant age gap, but Aisha has since broken her silence.

Speaking through a relative to the Mail Online, Aisha said: "I am looking forward to my new life and I know that it will be very different. But I do not feel any pressure because Sadio’s fame and money will not change me. This is not what I’m interested in. I will remain a humble person committed to my faith.

"I’m not used to having so much attention on me because we are a very private family. We don’t like to show off and speak about our personal lives.

"I am a very down to earth person, this is how I was raised, and nothing will be different just because of this marriage. But I’m very honoured to now be Mrs Mane."

Mane has also spoken to the media since the ceremony, which took place just days before he had to jet off with the Senegal national team to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations.

Following the wedding, Mane discussed tying the knot and the messages he has received ahead of leading his country out at AFCON. "Honestly, I am happy [with] the fact the president has congratulated me just as much as, well, I would say not just my team-mates," he said, via the Daily Mail. "I think that all the people have congratulated me and wished me [luck] so I am happy and I hope that it'll be okay."
