The controversy over the injury time penalty awarded to Real Madrid against Juventus in their Champions League tie rumbles on, and this time Diego Maradona has weighed in, suggested that Lucas Vazquez made a meal of Mehdi Benatia's challenge.
It's a topic that has totally written the narrative of the second leg, and taken something away from the superb performance of the Italians for 92 minutes.
"It was not a penalty, no!" Maradona emphatically said to reporters.
"When Ronaldo heads the ball, Lucas had to throw himself at it because he was next to Buffon, and he had Benatia coming in from behind.
"He did as I would do it too, grabbed his chance and threw himself over."
