Maradona defends Ronaldinho after fake Paraguayan passport issue

Brazil and Barcelona legend Ronaldinho will not be charged after entering Paraguay on a fake passport.

"We are looking for a different way out of this that doesn't result in a formal accusation and that recognises that these people were, we can say, taken by surprise," said lead prosecutor Federico Delfino, per the BBC.

Diego Maradona backed the Brazilian. "Strength dear friend Ronaldinho, the truth always comes out, big hug champ," wrote Maradona on Instagram. He attached a photo of him hugging Ronaldinho.
