MARC GUEHI could be charged by the FA after writing "I love Jesus" on his rainbow armband.
The Crystal Palace defender, 24, wrote the three-word remark on his captain's armband for his side's clash with Newcastle on Saturday.
FA rules allow for "initiative slogans/emblems" but forbid "political, religious or personal slogans, statements or images".
According to ESPN, he could now be charged by the FA as his decision may be seen as "an aggravating factor".
The rainbow armband is a symbol of support for LGBTQ+ issues in football.
Guehi is a Christian and has spoken about his religious beliefs in the past.
Speaking to The Athletic, he said: 'I've grown up loving God and when I have had the chance I still go to church with my family, and my faith is definitely a big part of my life.
"Faith is everything that I'm involved with, really; even in football, where I'm trying to be a role model and show God's graciousness and God's glory through my life."

He made a mistake by accepting the armband in the first place. Stand your ground like Ipswich captain. Or give another player the band for the match simple. Your love for God is more important. Keep it up

So they are going against something that's right for something that's wrong?...Wtf is the world coming to these days. I used to enjoy seeing how beautiful the rainbow was as a kid, but nowadays, I don't....
