Real Madrid left-back Marcelo cannot put up with any more. The Brazilian has asked the club to let him leave at the end of the season. He feels his time at the club has come to an end has decided it's time to go. And he has communicated that to those that matter.
According to Telemadrid, Marcelo has told Madrid he wants out in the summer. He's done so in meetings with the club's hierarchy this week. He feels affected by the rumours and by losing his regular place in Santiago Solari's side and cannot stand anymore. He wants a transfer.
"If the day arrives when Madrid tell me they don't want me, I will leave [and say] thanks for everything," Telemadrid point out Marcelo said recently.
Marcelo's destination seems obvious. He wants to move to Turin to join ex-teammate Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus in Italy. Ronaldo's wanted him to join him since day one. In Italy, there are rumours of a deal between Juve and Madrid worth 45 million euros.

This entire saga has been frustrating. Our fans for not giving him the respect he 100% deserves, but I also wish Marcelo would show more of a fighter's spirit than a victim's. We are going to need him if we want to do anything serious in the UCL or the long shot in La Liga but he should also be honest with himself and get back into form rather than complain.

Seriously we need to respect and support our legends or players during rough patch and seeing people on fb and insta just slamming him without any consideration need to support him he has been the best lb for 6-7 years and integral to our squad one bad season and you all doing this ?

It really makes me sad that he is being scape goated again! Such a legend for you guys and these stupid stats (won everything without him lost every game with him bla bla) as if a single player could/should have that much impact on Real Madrid!

Bro Marcelo you were just saying whistles are normal in the stadium and players need to man up because the fans are normally right. Now that it's not Bale you want respect?

THATS Spanish football for you. Leave while you're a legend or you'll get crucified. Not too many players escape that side of LaLiga. Marcelo is the best real Madrid player for the better part of a decade. I would still take him over Ronaldo any day of the week.

Having said that, he is one of my all-time favourite RM players but he simply does not have the stamina and work-rate required of a modern full back. I still think he can play a role further up the pitch, with less defensive responsibilities. A 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1, with him on the left backed by a more defensive LB, could be a good solution.

if anybody believes marcelo costed us the 3 points against girona, well, fuk em. as always, people need scapegoats to dumb down way more complex issues. kroos does even less defensive work and three times the bored jogging but nobody ever says anything

Marcelo has not shown the same commitment to the club since CR7 left. We are grateful for all he has done but if he isn't giving the effort he used to and complains about being unhappy then let him go.

Yes it’s time for Marcelo to leave Real. What player in his right mind wants to play for a team whose president and fans believe that they deserve perfect football. Perez treats the players like hired help with him as the overlord. The fans cheer the player as long as they are pleased. But when the players are but s little out of form, the whistles overwhelm the stadium. Perez uses his manager to manipulate the players emotionally often to the detriment of team and players. When a player revolts against this treatment hr is denigrated and benched. Of course players want out. Ramos, Modric your time is coming. Check with Benzima.

Lesson learnt here- It takes less than 1 month for Real fans to start hating a club legend. Waiting for the day when Ramos starts to get the blame
