Foot Mercato understands that Olympique de Marseille have made Inter Milan’s Valentín Carboni (19) their priority signing in the No.10 position.
With the arrival of Roberto De Zerbi now officially confirmed, Marseille are looking to advance their transfer plans. Lilian Brassier and Ismaël Koné look set to join the club imminently, whilst players such as Juventus’ Manuel Locatelli are also reportedly targets for OM, who approach the upcoming season with the objective of returning to European competition.
Carboni, who excelled on loan at Monza last season before making his debut for the Argentina national team earlier this year, is one of Marseille’s priority targets, according to Foot Mercato. OM, who are looking to quickly advance the deal, have already made contact with the attacking midfielder’s entourage, as well as his club, Inter Milan. Les Phocéens are very determined to land the young prospect, currently competing at the Copa America with Argentina, and it is reported that talks have begun well, although no bid has yet been submitted.
