According to The Athletic, Olympique de Marseille have submitted a new bid for Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah (25). However, it is thought that the offer still falls short of the Premier League side’s valuation of the England international.
After a disappointing 2023/24 campaign, Marseille are in the midst of overhauling their squad as they seek to provide Roberto De Zerbi with the tools to mount a fightback. OM have already added Premier League experience in the form of Mason Greenwood from Manchester United and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Tottenham Hotspur.
Nketiah is the next target. OM had already seen an opening bid rejected. Undeterred, they have returned to the table. The new offer, worth almost €20m, is close to the valuation of the first offer, however, the “formula” is closer to that desired by Arsenal, according to The Athletic.
Arsenal’s asking price is considerably higher and so the Premier League club are unlikely to accept, however, the clubs remain locked in talks. Should Marseille strike a deal with the Gunners, personal terms will not be an issue. The English forward has already agreed a five-year deal with Les Phocéens and is keen to join De Zerbi’s side.

Why would the selling club make him expensive when he hasn’t done anything He’s a good player yes but what has he done to make himself 40m+ nothing The club can’t just make him expensive when he isn’t sometimes it’s hype too and it’s utd that is good at that
PSG just signed Neves for 60m plus ( a one season wonder) What has Yamal done?? What has Nico done?? What did palmer do at Man city?? Go price them currently Bro, Strikers are meant to be expensive except a release clause it there! The guy from Stuttgart (Guirassy) won't leave for 17m if that wasn't his clause, We sold Balogun to Manaco for 3O+ after his fine form (what did balogun do for Arsenal?)

The selling club won't analyze all this Words you are saying here, He's Young, he's Homegrown, he's a fine finisher, and That a player warms the bench doesn't make him a bad player, Conte Prefers Lukaku and not Osimhen at Napoli, does that makes Osimhen a bad player?? Nketiah just doesn't really fit into the system, Arteta loves Versatility
Still doesn’t change he has hasn’t done anything to be worth more than 30m He hasn’t had a great one season and or any hype He’s just been that average player arsenal has who comes from the bench A good player yes but not that good for 40m+ And both lukaku and oshimen have had the hype and greats seasons Nketiah hasn’t had one prolly just half Cus u don’t give him the change so why keep him

Why are we even doing this?? We make those clubs feel like they're doing us a favor; They wouldn't accept anything less than 45M if Nketiah was a Marseille player, My club don't know how to Market priced assets, i wouldn't be surprised if Arsenal accept a bid of 7OM for saka as things stands
yes Marseille will ask for €45m because he will he a starter in Marseille, in arsenal hee barely even plays in matches, all this things also count.
