Jadon Sancho has been playing at Dortmund at an absolute top level and is likely to leave after this season. Matthaus thinks Bayern should make an effort for this talented player.
From the TV expert's perspective, this may open a door for FC Bayern. "Of course you have to make an effort for the player, even if you have little chance," Matthaus said.
Sancho should be an alternative to the long-planned move from Man City's Sane. Matthaus knows having both wingers is utopian for Bayern.
"You have to know what Bavaria wants to spend and Havertz is still there. There would be three players who valued over €100m."
"At Sane, things have progressed a bit. But I could also imagine Sancho at Bayern. I would be happy if one of the two came." However, Dortmund should not be interested in handing their talent to the arch rival.

Man City too qualified almost every year and made SFs once, so? And on the pitch, Bayern has been better than all the EPL teams in the last 10 years...it's not like Arsenal or Man U or Chelsea can win the Bundesliga and if Arsenal had that chance to qualify each year, u will still not make quarter finals... so sorry but that logic is a bit stupid.
And what if Arsenal or Chelsea or City can buy the best players from each of their competitors? what if City can buy Alisson, VVD, Robertson, Jorginho, Aubameyang, Pogba?... will they still be knocked out early every time? will they only succeed once in a decade?... uno, I knew you're stupid from ur first reply, I just didn't know you're THIS stupid... and I'm not sorry for saying that!

You know, in this last 10yrs, no EPL team has played in the Champions League e-v-e-r-y year, at some point each team has dropped to the Europa league, or even out completely... but the Bundesliga is so simple that Bayern play UCL every year, and to only succeed in 2013 is actually not so much of a big deal... all those leagues that have "automatic qualifications", they should feel shame to make this statement of yours and that probably why they don't make it

Why don't you just buy the league?... This is how they kill competition every year, when the domestic competition is not strong enough, you'll be exposed in Europe

oh! absolutely.. why not we definitely need a Winger so KingK or Gnabry stop getting injured so many times. now the issue here is this..Will Bayern drop that bag💰money for Sancho who is better than Sane by numbers and athleticism? or are they willing to let go one of the current Winger in order to bring him in? just wondering
Bayern definitely not Barcą or Madrid to be shopping like that. I'm sure Havertz will come 1st before Sane and Sane to me I would not buy for over 90mil. he hasn't played, lost his starting job last yr at City and that injury I just don't trust.

What if we get Sancho, get Pep to drop the price for Sane and if he doesn't, he can come for free
He can come for free in Feb*

if he does, hopefully not Man U or Chelsea.. they both have nothing great and stable in their campaign. all they have are youngsters with talent with no leadership role players

Sancho will most likely go back to Epl and I don't think Dortmund will be willing to help us strengthen our squad even more.

Bayern don't want to sell either Coman and Gnabry and I doubt they'll go for both Sane and Sancho. Bayern are also looking for Havertz so I don't think we'll get both Sane and Sancho. I think we'll get sane only as he is the first priority and a lot cheaper than Sancho is
