Five Paris Saint-Germain players had the unusual opportunity on Friday to help baptise three baby gorillas in Rwanda.
The event, part of the Kquita Izina ceremony organised by club sponsors Visit Rwanda, saw the first-team players contribute via videocall from Paris.
Neymar, Sergio Ramos, Kylian Mbappe, Angel Di Maria and Marquinhos chose names from a list pre-selected by the Rwandan conservationists and announced them to celebrate International Gorilla Day.
There are 380 gorillas in the Rwandan jungle and now three more, with names chosen by PSG players. The baby gorillas are Ingeri, Nshongore and Mudasumbwa and were born during the season.
The Parisian club shared the video on their social media channels where the players explain the meaning behind the names.
