Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay feels it would be wrong for people to write them off in the Champions League despite falling 1-0 at home to Barcelona.
A first-half own goal from Luke Shaw was all that separated the two sides on the night at Old Trafford as Barcelona took control of the quarter-final tie.
McTominay started the match and was one of the standout performers for United in what proved to be a fiercely competitive contest, setting up a fascinating second leg at the Nou Camp next week.
"They're a top-class team and it's not easy to press like mayhem but afterwards we did so, so well and credit to the boys for that," the Scotland international told BT Sport.
"We're Manchester United, you can never write us off. They've got top class players but so have we."

as a madrid fans the game is not over until is over. man utd fought a gud fought but as for the own goal let's take it, it was a mistake and as for man utd players u ppe deserve a goal scoring machine in the front line and gud central mid fielder, in my own point of view u pple should bench Paul pogba and one defencive mid fielder. why I am sayn this u pple are heading to camp nou it would be a great fight, in order to succeed in camp nou with victorious bench Paul pogba in the next game and look for who can replace him in more in that position. like I said man utd needs goal scoring machine somebody like martial and lakaku and even Mata or even gud right winger

No one wrote united off and from yesterday's performance it is perfectly clear that Messi is perfectly human and Normal and when perfectly man marked he is no threat yesterday was unlucky for us united played good and we played the ole way for example rashford should have equalised and so in dalots header as well as if martial had just an inch perfect touch we could have equalised

Always thought this young scot was internationally overrated by MOU in his politics play with the man u board. But was truly impressed with his performance yesterday. Instead it was ashley young, who was in the team for obvious reason of adding experience to the team, who failed miserably in my opinion. The number of times he lost the ball during the game and all the wayward crosses are astonishing. Young has been on the down turn since the beginning of the season, he oughta be phased out gracefully likely valencia asap and usher in a new era for the club.
