Mendes, Vitinha receive FIFPro 2025 world XI trophies

On June 11th, Nuno Mendes and Vitinha received their FIFPro 2025 World 11 trophies and were interviewed during their World Cup preparations.

This Thursday, Joaquim Evangelista, president of the Portuguese Players' Union and FIFPro global board member, presented Nuno Mendes and Vitinha with their FIFPro 2025 World 11 trophies.

Nuno Mendes said: "I want to thank my fellow professional players for voting for me. I am very proud and hope we can have an excellent season and finish it perfectly, so I can be selected again in the next edition."

Vitinha said: "I am very honored to receive this award for the first time, especially as it was voted for by my peers. This makes me immensely proud and happy, and I hope this won't be the last time I win it, and that I can continue to maintain this level."
