Messi fit to be selected in Barca squad for Catalan Derby as Dembele ruled out

Valverde has named his squad for Barca's derby against Espanyol on Saturday. Messi and Suarez both fit to be selected in the squad as Dembele remains sidelined for a hamstring problem.

Jasper Cillessen's absence is the main point of note, along with Luis Suarez's inclusion after he overcame a sprained ankle and Lionel Messi's presence after returning from international break with a knock and improving throughout the week.

The backup goalkeeper is suffering with some discomfort in his left thigh that will rule him out, and his time on the sidelines is not yet known.
