Multiple Argentine media outlets report that Lionel Messi and his family landed in his hometown Rosario at 6:30 local time this morning.
Two days after the World Cup final, Messi stayed briefly at his home in Miami before arriving in Argentina. The plane carrying him to Rosario touched down at 6:30 this morning. Messi arrived alongside his wife Antonela and their three children. He will spend a few days resting with his family before heading back to the United States to rejoin Inter Miami.
It remains unclear when Messi will link up with the Inter Miami squad. The team will face Chicago Fire in two days.
