Lionel Messi clearly saw an opportunity to open the scoring in the 36th minute of Barcelona's clash with Slavia Prague, hitting the crossbar with an effort just outside the box, yet his decision to not pass to Antoine Griezmann has come under scrutiny on social media.
The Frenchman is yet to gel with Messi or Luis Suarez, often seeming absent on the left wing, and this would have been a great opportunity for the Argentine to strike up something of a connection with his partner in attack.
Although it is not guaranteed that Griezmann would have beaten Ondrej Kolar in the Czech side's goal, and admittedly Messi did come close, the chances of the former Atletico Madrid star finding the back of the net were likely higher than Messi, who had three Slavia players around him.

That to tell u that all the rumours about they relationship is true.... MESSI and Griezman is not in a good term like he is with Luis Suarez.... forget that they both came out to deny it before... they are only trying to protect they images, MESSI preference to be signed was Neymar before Barca board went and sign Griezman "which lead to the delay of MESSI salary.. and he still has that on his mind against Griezman.... was it not MESSI that pasted a penalty kick to Suarez to score? if Suarez was at that position, wouldn't he pass the ball to him? if it's CR7 the who world will deep down and call him names.... It's not just the coach that is Barca problems but also there isn't a good relationship between the players mostly the top players.

Why making a big issue out of nothing? Clearly Messi thought he would score, it's not that he didn't trust Griezmann or that he is selfish. If he had scored,you wouldn't be saying anything. And some of you trying to compare him to CR7 ,you can't compare Messi's selfless football to that CR7's individuality football (though I need to mention that CR7 is helping his mates a lot these days in terms passing and celebrating with them, that wasn't the case some years back). Allfootball,you are not helping by bringing in already passed clips,Barca dropped points they shd have won, and they have made qualifying more difficult or more interesting.
