Bad news coming from Barcelona Leo Messi could miss Barcelona's first post-lockdown match against Mallorca.

According to Catalunya Radio, the Argentine missed the Wednesday training due to injury. The report claims that Messi suffers discomfort in the abductor and had an MRI scan at the club's facilities.

The same source says that the captain might not be available for the match against Mallorca on June 13. TVE have also reported that the injury is not serious but the 32-year-old might still miss the opening game.

As a reminder, Leo was nowhere to be seen during the group training on Wednesday. Earlier today, both Mundo Deportivo and Diario Sport reported that there was no injury and the forward skipped the group training but did gym work at the recommendation of the physical coach.

For now, it's hard to tell who to believe. There no confirmation from the club, at least for now. Quique Setien has reportedly given the squad a day off on Thursday and they'll return to work on Friday. Only then we'll be able to tell whether he's injured or not.
