Barcelona captain Lionel Messi has been called up for Argentina's upcoming friendlies against Venezuela and Morocco.
The two respective encounters will take place at the Wanda Metropolitano, Atletico Madrid's home, on 22 March, and in Tangier on 26 March.
Messi will feature in the first of the two matches as the Argentine Football Association have already promoted the match in Madrid and have sold over than 10,000 tickets.
However, the 31-year-old forward will not travel to Morocco as Barcelona are set to face Espanyol four days later in LaLiga Santander.
Messi decided to retire from the Albiceleste after the 2018 World Cup in Russia and didn't take part in the team's matches in autumn as he earned some extra days rest from his Blaugrana duties.
The Barcelona superstar will take part in the upcoming Copa America, which will be held in Brazil in June.

My legend without a National Trophy you are not a G.O.A.T . So please show your magic in the Copa America this year. I am a Brazil fan but I am requesting you please try to defeat us. I know it is impossible but I want to see a national achievement before your retirement
