Messi sees being quarantined at home in his luxurious mansion as the perfect chance to hone his skills.

The 32-year-old and his Barcelona team-mates have been forced to self isolate due to coronavirus fears as the Catalan club became the latest side hit by the outbreak.

All LaLiga games and Spanish second division matches have been postponed for two weeks in a desperate bid to stop the spread of the deadly virus.

And with Barca just two points clear of Real Madrid, Messi knows he will have to keep training if he wants to be in tip-top shape should the season resume.

The six-time Ballon d'Or winner has the perfect home to craft his talents, with his isolated property boasting an outdoor football pitch, swimming pool and an indoor gym.

Messi shared a video of himself in 2018 training in his garden ahead of the new campaign by enjoying a kick-about with his hulking pet dog.

And Messi can enjoy working out in peace, with a no-fly zone being been put in place over his Castelldefels home due to environmental restrictions.

Javier Sanchez-Prieto - president of Spanish airline Vueling - blasted the decision as he hit out at the Argentinian international, as he said: "You cannot pass over where Messi lives.

"This doesn’t happen anywhere else in the world."
