The Conmebol Ethics Commission would issue its ruling next week against the Argentine player, Lionel Messi, who described the governing body of South American football as "corrupt."
"Next week, Messi's statements will fail. They would give him six months of suspension and those months of suspension can reach them on FIFA dates," said Diego Monroy, an ESPN journalist this afternoon.
"Messi would be lost: Argentina vs. Chile, Argentina vs. Mexico, in September. In October, Germany vs. Argentina and Argentina vs. the Basque national team would be lost; and in November, Argentina vs. Saudi Arabia and Argentina vs. Brazil," added the pressman .
If confirmed by the journalist Diego Monroy in the ESPN FC program, Lionel Andrés Messi Cuccittini, 32, could not be taken into account for the matches of the Argentine National Soccer Team for the remainder of 2019.
The Albiceleste player received from Conmebol a suspension date and the payment of $1,500 for the expulsion he received before Chile, in the duel for the third place of the 2019 Copa América, which motivated his statements against the governing body of South American football.

Let his ban be increase to two years because what he said about such an integrity institution is quite unacceptable. Messi need to learn to get use to his failure with the Argentina national team n stop been rude in the process. each time he fails, he will look for excuse. the last time it was resignation, this time it's about allegations of corruption.

To be sincere, saying that CONMEBOL IS CORRUPT IS UNDERSTATEMENT, they are bunch of animals, fools and disgrace. They all smoke weeds. This is the time to put things right in south American football, though Messi have become the escape goat. Yes, someone must be sacrificed sometimes to put something right especially when corruption have eaten up people's bone marrow. Believe me, there will be much changes, turnaround in south American football after all these storm.

It doesnt rule out that they're corrupt but this would probably help Argentina finally try to get the Messi system out, they cant decide whether they should or shouldnt use it and thats when they fall apart. Argentina has other players that can help the national team but the coaches are too lazy and only rely on Messi to save their careers. Whats happening in Barcelona right now has been happening in Argentina for the last 10 years.
