Paris Saint-Germain defender Thomas Meunier has taken inspiration from Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler for his latest 'Thursday celebration'.

The Belgian likes to re-enact famous celebrations from the past in videos on social media and then ask fans  to guess which player he is trying to be.

He has previously imitated Wayne Rooney's hilarious boxing knockout one as well as well known ones from the likes of Luca Toni and Emile Heskey.

And this time it was an infamous moment from former Reds striker Fowler.

'That time again. Let's play a little bit dear friends :) Thursday celebration is back,' he wrote to his 850k followers.

The attached clip shows Meunier getting to his knees, putting his left hand by his nose, and pretending to snort the white lines of the pitch.

Fans immediately guessed that he was trying to replicate Fowler's celebration in which he appeared to mimick snorting cocaine on the white lines of Anfield's pitch during a game against Everton in 1999.

Fowler, who said his actions were a response to Everton fans who had insulted him with false accusations of drug abuse, was fined £60,000 by his club for bringing the game into disrepute and received a four-match suspension from the FA.
