Real Madrid did what they usually do wherever they go. With more intensity, because there's no other way to beat Real Sociedad, but without playing well. They were on the ropes. But where there's no football, there is the whistle. And Zinedine Zidane's side, for the third game running since LaLiga returned, did it again. They are the best at that -- no doubt.
Mikel Merino, the Real Sociedad midfielder, was angry with what he saw, with three controversial decisions all going in Madrid's favour: a penalty won by Vinicius, a La Real goal ruled out for offside and the possible use of a handball in the build up to Benzema's goal as Los Blancos won 2-1.
Merino was the player ruled offside for the home team's goal. He did not touch the ball or make an attempt to but VAR ruled he had blocked Courtois' view.
“We’re angry with everything but mainly with the way we lost, because the little details and the big moments went against us,” said Merino second after the full time whistle.
“I was at least five metres from Courtois when I was flagged offside. I don’t know if the same thing would have happened had it been in the other area but the flag went up and we feel that we have been wronged.”

Why is it that if a Madrid goal is ruled out ,then the decision is right and if the opponent's goal is ruled out then the decision is wrong. VAR is there for every one so if u loose just accept the loss

Most of Barcelona fans are saying we paid the ref 🤣🤣, yo kids, if we've bribed the ref, we should have had a clear penalty in the 1st half where Marcelo was brought down in the box.. So shut the hell up.. And sorry for being this rude, but you guys seriously gets on my nerves
