The Corriere dello Sport claims Milan could make a January bid for Chelsea defender Gary Cahill after an injury crisis intensified.
The Rossoneri are decimated going into next weekend’s Serie A showdown with Lazio, as they are missing several key players, all of them for at least a month.
Alessio Romagnoli was the latest addition to the list, joining Mateo Musacchio, Mattia Caldara, Lucas Biglia and Giacomo Bonaventura.
According to the Corriere dello Sport newspaper, Milan are preparing a January swoop for England international Cahill, who does not seem to have a role in Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea.
The centre-back turns 33 next month and his contract is due to expire at the end of the season.
Cahill has made only six competitive appearances for Chelsea this term, with only 21 minutes in the Premier League.

He wouldn't be a bad signing. Italy's league has a slower tempo to it so aged and experienced defenders shouldn't struggle plus it's better to play alongside another experienced guy like Romagnoli than a young inexperienced player like Christensen. Just look at how Jive play 2 experienced defenders next to each other and they got a solid wall. Romagnoli and Cahill would be a great pairing....
