After Kane won the 2026 Ballon d'Or, Millwall, where Kane previously played on loan, extended their congratulations.
Millwall's official social media account posted: "We will never forget that loan spell. The only player in history to win the Ballon d'Or having worn our shirt. Heartfelt congratulations, Kane 👏"
Kane played for Millwall on loan in the latter half of the 2011-12 season, making 27 appearances for the club across the Championship and FA Cup, scoring 9 goals and providing 5 assists.
At the Ballon d'Or ceremony, Kane also thanked Kenny Jackett, his manager during his time at Millwall, who passed away in June this year at the age of 64.
