Another humiliating display from PSG sees them suffer a 3-2 defeat to 5th-placed Montpellier as Presnel Kimpembe scores an own goal for two games running.
Match Events
12' OWN GOAL! Montpellier 0-1 PSG (Oyongo)
Just moments after making a vital challenge to deny Alves, Oyongo has sliced high into his own net.
Bernat got free down the left and delivered a neat cut-back, and though there was no PSG player present, Oyongo could only hook it past Lecomte.
21' OWN GOAL! Montpellier 1-1 PSG (Kimpembe)
More torrid defending from PSG, as dreadful marking allows Le Tallec to meet the ball unmarked six yards out.
His header was going wide, but Kimpembe – who of course conceded the free-kick in needless fashion – could not get out of the way, and deflected it past Buffon.
30' Kimpembe makes another mistake!
Kimpembe is really struggling at the moment, and conceded a sloppy pass straight to Delort, who wasted no time in getting a shot off.
PSG’s veteran goalkeeper did well to tip it over, but Montpellier weren’t finished there, with Buffon getting down low to his right to divert Skhiri’s effort wide.
41' Superb save from Buffon!
From a free-kick, Mollet goes for goal. Buffon lunges at it and makes a connection, only for the ball to bounce back off Paredes and very nearly end up as a second own goal from the visitors.
43' What a miss! Delort's shot over the bar
That should have been 2-1 to Montpellier! Laborde stole a march on his marker and dinked a lofted ball over to Delort, who somehow manages to send his effort over from point-blank range.
62' GOAL! Montpellier 1-2 PSG (Di Maria)
It’s 2-1 now, thanks to a moment of magic from Di Maria. Marquinhos managed to bundle the ball into the Argentine’s path.
Despite having no space to work with, and the goalkeeper closing him down, Di Maria twisted his way around Lecomte and tucked home.
70' WHAT A BLOCK! Incredible defending from Mendes
That is incredible defending from Mendes, who somehow got back to hook Draxler’s lofted finish off the line. It looked for all the world as though PSG would have their third.
80' GOAL! Montpellier 2-2 PSG (Delort)
Lecomte launched a huge thrown out from his box, with Mollet cushioning a brilliant pass into Delort, who got the better of Dagba before lifting a composed finish over Buffon.
Delort’s finish was composed, but the pass to play him through from Mollet was exceptional.
80' GOAL! Montpellier 3-2 PSG (Camara)
The comeback is complete, after Paredes gives the ball away following a risky pass by Buffon. Skhiri manages to turn it towards Camara, and the substitute slots home with a first-time finish.
If you needed an example of how bad PSG have been today, that goal would sum it up nicely.
Match Report
Paris Saint-Germain failed to bounce back from their Coupe de France final disappointment as they slipped to a 3-2 Ligue 1 defeat to Montpellier on Tuesday.
Thomas Tuchel's side threw away a two-goal lead to ultimately lose on penalties to Rennes on Saturday and never looked like returning to winning ways in a display characterised by woeful defending and scant attacking threat.
Ambroise Oyongo's own goal put them ahead after 12 minutes but Presnel Kimpembe – who endured a torrid game – put through his own net at the other end in the 21st minute to draw the hosts level.
Angel Di Maria had looked like securing just a second win in six games across all competitions for the Ligue 1 champions but, after missing a number of golden opportunities, Andy Delort showed superb composure in the 80th minute to draw Montpellier level.
Substitute Souleymane Camara then took advantage of a Leandro Paredes error fire past Gianluigi Buffon five minutes from time to secure a famous win.

psg are literally presenting points on a plate to every opposing team. tuchel did a shit job and didn't bring the one thing psg miss, chemistry. drop tuchel and bring in a coach that knows how to make players work together and push to their limits. then psg would be a european force to be reckoned with, now they're just laughing material and are giving the ligue 1 an even worse image than it has been for the last 10 years. they turned into a league that produce talent, but keep blundering in european football. psg failing all the time is not helping french football, which has now turned into like the belgian pro league, where young prospects leave before their twenties trying to become top players. which is obviously not possible in their own league anymore. with a decent psg or no psg at all so that other teams could get the prize money for winning the league, ligue 1 could get interesting again, instead of being a feeder league to the pl and the other leagues of the big 5...

FROM THE 3RD BEST TO NO WAY NEAR THE TOP. THE DOWNFALL OFF NEYMAR JR. Neymar jr. came to Fc Barcelona in 2013 with high expectations, he had a very hard first season. He took some time to adapt and with the help of Messi it was done. In the 2014 World Cup he was the Golden Boy with billions of eyes on him. He was more talk about than Messi or Ronaldo. He got injured and was unable to play against Germany and well, we all know how that ended. In the 2014/15 season Barcelona bought Luis Suarez from Liverpool and together with Messi they formed the best trio in football history "MSN" (Messi, Suarez, Neymar). MSN ran rampant throughout that season, Barcelona won the treble and Neymar had his best ever season in football to date. Together with Messi and Ronaldo, Neymar was in the top 3 nominees for the Ballon d'or for the very first time. Messi won it but that was a given. Messi and Ronaldo was at their peak and for him to be so close to them was simply amazing. Neymar jr. was now labeled as "THE FUTURE" he was adored by all Barca fans and football fans across the world. In the Next season Barca won the domestic double, missing out on UCL. In his 4th and last season in Barca colours Neymar displayed his best ever performance to date against PSG in the UCL round of 16, unfortunately they only won the Copa Del Rey that season but Neymar had a troubled season, he had falling out with some of the coaching staff, he was aggressive, he got red carded and many other things. Nevertheless he was still the 3rd best in the world behind Messi and Ronaldo. Then he decided to leave, there were lots of Rumors before and he said nothing to no one. After spending 4 years at the club he just left without saying a single word. Turned his back against the club and all it's fans. He became hated by the fanbase. Neymar said he left for new challenges. He plays for PSG, a team that plays in the weakest league in Europe's top 5 leagues. He left the best club in the world to become the best player in the world. Neymar left to win Champions League with PSG when he only won it once in 4 seasons with Messi, Iniesta and other great players at his side (🤔). In 2 seasons at PSG he only played 55 Matches. He got injured in both season around the same time missing out half season in each of the 2 seasons. He is now being overshadowed by 20 year old Mbappe. He becoming a laughing stock at the world cup with his theatrics and now he is on a UEFA ban for 3 matches next season. He also allegedly punched a fan in the cup final after losing the match on penalties. He's 27 years now. As a Barca fan I wasn't upset about Neymar leaving, every player has their goals and wishes but the way he left was the reason I got upset. After everything Barcelona and Barca players did for him, after getting all the undying support from the fans during his worse times he didn't say he was leaving until the last moment. Leaving the clubs, players and fans hanging. With no noticed the club also had no time to find his replacement. Then had the audacity to ask for his loyalty bonus !!! Smh. Neymar jr. KARMA IS A BITCH !!! NEVER BITE THE HANDS THE FEED YOU.

PSG is the most famous players but they lost game again and again. I think that they are suffering of lack of Confidence. Players do not get their better services. Though they are best teams but what is happening among them.

Kimpebe always remind me of this book. ENEMY WITHIN, whilst the 10 players are fighting very hard to win each match, there is ONE PLAYER WITHIN THE TEAM always bringing the rest of the team vision down. he said "You can score our opponent be I will score against you too.
