According to Italian journalist Matteo Moretto, Milan have reached an agreement to appoint Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krösche as their new head of football. As part of the deal, Milan will pay Eintracht Frankfurt compensation.
The report states that Krösche has consistently been the top choice of Milan owner Gerry Cardinale. Unless the plan changes, the German executive is set to officially begin work at Milan in January.
Krösche, 45, has been Eintracht Frankfurt's sporting director since 2021. During his tenure, the club have steadily developed their squad and won the Europa League in 2022. Once he officially joins Milan, he will oversee the club's football operations.
